Copyright Trouble For Helena Greek singer Zoi Gripari, one of the lyricists on the track 'Iparhi Logos' has lodged a formal complaint against Sony BMG Greece, saying that she should have been advised that the song was being translated into English for the 'Game Of Love' album. Why it took Ms. Gripari a year to complain or why she has attacked Helena personally remains a mystery.
New single Fili Tis Zois premieres in Greece! MAD TV have premiered Helena's latest single, Fili Tis Zois (Kiss Of Life), the theme song to the film of the same name.

New Helena material in the Autumn
The website HelenaPaparizou.eu has today reported that Helena is recording a duet with Nikos Aliagas, a Greek television presenter, for his new album. The track 'I Zllia Monaxia' is a cover of the hit song 'L'Envie D'Aimer'.
Also, Helena is reportedly working on the title track to a forthcoming Greek Comedy film, 'To Fili Tis Zois'.

Helena surges into the Swedish charts
Helena is now sitting at number 18 in the Swedish charts with the download-only cover version of '3 is the magic number'. The song is being used to promote a new mobile network in Sweden. Unfortunately, due to the way in which the song is being distributed, it is unavailable to those outside Sweden at present.

Helena to enter Melodifestivalen 2008?
Rumours are abound today that Helena will be participating in Melodifestivalen 2008, the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Organiser of the event, Christer Björkman, has reportedly stated that it is 'likely' that Helena will participate. A survey in Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet revealed that the Swedes showed a clear preference to have Helena representing them in Belgrade.

Congratulations Helena!
Helena has triumphed at the MAD Video Music Awards 2007, held earlier this week at the Rock Stadium in Athens. Helena recieved two awards, for Best Female Singer and Best Outfit In A Music Video, the latter award was presented to her by heiress Nicky Hilton. Helena also pleased the crowds with her incredible opening performance, in which she performed Mi Fevgis, and the English track Let The Sunshine. Fos at #1!
It has been a fantastic week for Helena in terms of sales - in its first week on the chart, Fos has reached the number one spot on the singles chart in Greece! The repackaged Iparhi Logos also entered the charts this week, and is sitting at number 8 in the Greek-language chart, and 11 in the combined Greek/English chart. The MAD Secret Concert DVD also remains in the Greek top 10, this week at number nine.

Mi Fevgis Video Unveiled
MAD TV, the Greek music channel, have begun showing the video for the track Mi Fevgis, from the newly released Iparhi Logos: Platinum Edition and the Fos single. Since it was only announced that the video was being filmed last weekend, this premiere has come as something as a surprise! Despite that, here it is in full:

Helena Filming New Video
It has been reported that Helena is currently filming a new video for the track Min Fevgis, which appears on the recently released Iparhi Logos repackage. The video will be set outside a large house somewhere on the Greek coast.

Helena down-under?
Various sources are currently reporting that Helena's summer hit Mambo! is set to be released in both Australia and New Zealand in the coming months. This would be Helena's first foray into the Antipodean market, and if the rumours are true, we wish her the best of luck!
After several false starts, both the repackaged Iparhi Logos and the single Fos were released in Greece today.

Iparhi Logos: Platinum Edition - Delayed Again?
The eagerly anticipated repackage of Helena's double platinum album, Iparhi Logos, seems to have been delayed once more. The album, due out yesterday, is no-where to be found in Greek shops or even online stores. There is no word from SonyBMG as to when it will now be released.
