| The first single from the third Girls Aloud album, "Long Hot Summer," was released in August 2005, as an 'interim' single whilst the girls were on tour. Rumours had abounded, and were even confirmed, that a cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Games" would be released, but this was postponed and eventually cancelled, to be replaced with this spikey, summery pop song. A special version, featuring re-written lyrics, was performed exclusively at the London G-A-Y club, and was put up for exclusive download, contributing to the single's #7 debut in the UK top 40 singles chart. |

| "Biology" takes you on a 3minute multi-genre ride, sounding like five different songs stapled together; at one point a saucy jazz cabaret affair, before embarking into 70's disco, taking in electro-pop en route - in fact,
"Biology" is a multi-parted work of compositional genius on Xenomania's behalf, and a perfect choice to launch their third album, "Chemistry." The single comes backed by an unreleased B-side, and debuted at #4 in the UK singles chart. |

| "See The Day" is another complete switch in style for Girls Aloud, a minimalist Christmas ballad, a cover of the DC Lee track, made famous in the 80s. given a modern rework by Xenomania. Released just a week after "Chemistry," and just four weeks after "Biology," in order to compete for the Christmas #1 slot, and raise awareness for the album, "See The Day" comes complete with a sultry, wintery video, featuring the girls inside a snow globe. |

| A second ballad from "Chemistry," the sublime "Whole Lotta History" was serviced to radio and TV in March, shortly before the girls embarked on a 2-week promotional trip to Australia to promote "Biology." The video is one of the first to be shot on location, featuring the girls looking stunning in a windswept Paris, providing gorgeous imagery for the song, remixed by Ash Howes and backed with a B-side entitled "Crazy Fool," co-written and sung by Cheryl. |
